This drink was invented at the Rancho de Chimayo. It provides a happy way of using the cider from their apple orchards.
Yield: Serves 1
INGREDIENTS
- 1 ¼ ounces tequila
- 2 ounces apple cider
- 1½ teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 1½ teaspoons creme de cassis
Equipment:
- 6 to 8-ounce tall glass
- Cocktail shaker
- Cocktail strainer
Directions
Fill a cocktail shaker with 6 to 8 ice cubes. Add all of the ingredients and shake briskly 6 or 7 times. Strain into the glass and serve.
